Online Counselling for Young People (16+) and Adults Across the UK
Hello I'm Cassandra.
I'm really glad you've found your way here.
If you're reading this, life may feel difficult at the moment. You may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or simply carrying more than you feel able to manage on your own.
Whatever has brought you here, you don't have to face it alone.
I offer online counselling in a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly, explore your thoughts and feelings, and be accepted for who you are.
I believe that meaningful change begins with feeling heard and understood. My role isn't to tell you who you should be or how you should live your life. Instead, I'll work alongside you as we make sense of your experiences together, helping you discover what feels right for you.
Whether you're struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, identity, life transitions, bereavement, or simply feeling lost, counselling can offer a space to pause, reflect and move forward at your own pace.
Finding the right counsellor is important. That's why I offer a free 20 minute introductory call, giving us the opportunity to meet, answer any questions you may have and see whether working together feels like the right fit.
I'd be delighted to hear from you.
What You Can Expect
If we work together, my hope is that you'll experience a space where you can:

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website.
Choosing a counsellor is a very personal decision. I know how important it is to find someone you feel comfortable talking to, so I'd like to tell you a little about myself before we talk about qualifications or counselling approaches.
I've always been interested in people - what shapes us, how we make sense of our experiences, and what helps us move forward when life feels difficult. That curiosity, together with a genuine belief that everyone deserves to be heard without judgement, is what led me to counselling.
One of the things I value most is creating a space where you don't have to pretend. Life can place many expectations on us, and it's easy to feel we should be coping better, doing better, doing more or somehow being different. I believe counselling offers an opportunity to step away from those pressures, explore your experiences openly and reconnect with the person you are, rather than the person you feel you ought to be.
No two people are the same, so I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I work collaboratively with each client, adapting my way of working to meet your individual needs and what feels most helpful for you.
Alongside my private practice, I continue to work as a volunteer counsellor because I value supporting people in different settings and believe that learning never stops.
Outside of counselling I enjoy spending time in nature, travelling and discovering new places. These quieter moments help me slow down, reflect and reconnect with what matters, and they remind me of the importance of creating space for ourselves in our everyday lives.
Professionally, I am an Integrative Counselling Psychotherapist, an NCPS Accredited Registrant and a BACP Registered Member. I work within the ethical frameworks of both professional bodies and am committed to providing a safe, respectful and confidential space for my clients.
Whether you're considering counselling for the first time or returning after a previous experience, I hope you'll find a warm, accepting space where you feel able to be yourself.
If you feel I may be the right counsellor for you, I'd love to hear from you

A Few Things I Believe
Everyone's journey through life is different, but there are a few beliefs that guide the way I work as a counsellor.
Everyone's experiences are unique, and there's no expectation that you should fit into a particular box. Whether you're facing a specific challenge or simply feeling that something isn't quite right, counselling can provide a safe and supportive space to explore what's happening for you.
Anxiety can affect every part of daily life, leaving you feeling overwhelmed, worried or constantly on edge.Together, we can explore what may be contributing to your anxiety and develop ways of understanding and managing it with greater confidence.
Living with addiction can feel isolating, but you don't have to face it alone. Counselling can provide a supportive space to explore the challenges you're experiencing, understand underlying patterns and work towards healthier ways of coping.
When life feels demanding, it's easy to become emotionally and physically exhausted.Together, we can explore the pressures you're facing and find ways to manage stress that feel realistic and sustainable for you.
Anger is a natural human emotion, but it can sometimes feel difficult to understand or manage. We can explore what lies beneath your anger, helping you develop greater awareness and healthier ways of expressing how you feel.
If you're struggling with self-doubt, self-criticism or feeling "not good enough", counselling can help you explore where these beliefs come from and begin building a kinder, more compassionate relationship with yourself.
Childlessness not by choice can bring feelings of grief, loss and uncertainty that are often misunderstood by others. I offer a compassionate space where you can explore these experiences at your pace and find support as you navigate your journey.
Our culture, identity and life experiences shape who we are. Whether you're exploring your sense of belonging, navigating different cultures or trying to understand your identity, counselling can provide a respectful and non-judgemental space for reflection.
Depression can leave you feeling low, disconnected or without hope. You don't have to carry those feelings on your own.Together, we can gently explore your experiences, helping you make sense of what you're going through and move towards brighter days.
Life is full of change, and even positive changes can feel overwhelming. Whether you're navigating a career change, starting university, becoming a parent, experiencing an empty nest, retirement, relationship changes, or simply feeling uncertain about the next chapter of your life, counselling can provide a supportive space to reflect, adjust and move forward with greater confidence and self-understanding.
